02 · Meet the physician

Gezel Saheli, MD

Founder Integrative Medicine Psychiatry

Gezel Saheli, MD, brings psychiatry and integrative medicine together in care designed around the whole person. After earning her medical degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, she completed postgraduate training in internal medicine and psychiatry, including at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Her work is grounded in thoughtful communication, strong patient–physician relationships, and an understanding of how mental and physical health influence one another. She has particular experience in obesity medicine, TMS, ketamine treatment, and behavioral patterns related to food addiction. At Atlantis, Gezel Saheli, MD, develops individualized, collaborative care plans that help patients move beyond symptom management toward lasting well-being.
